This past Friday night at the Morgan Jr Arena in Wallington, NJ was a very special event, as Rob Chase participated in his 1000th match as a professional wrestler on a very special event called Friday Smack Nightdown!
For those that don’t know “the Slamburgular”, he is a man of many alter-egos. On any given night, he could dazzle and razzle you as “the Vile of the Nile” Prince Akkanatan, talk your ear off as Cam L. Clutch, or try and repossess your property as Rob Chase.
A very well-respected performer wherever he’s gone, this man has held the ACE Fight For Flight Championship twice, as well as tag team championships with training partners and friends Aaron Bradley (known today as Alex Reiman) and Tristen Law. Also, he has made countless connections and friendships with a multitude of performers. This is a well-deserved and earned accomplishment.
Sadly, I was unable to be in attendance for this special night. HOWEVER, a close personal friend, R.E. Porter, was at the Morgan Jr Arena and passed along these results to HardwayHQ.com:
Six Way Scramble: Corazon def. Phil Fusion & Joe Scott & Captain Pain & Stray Cat D’Mato & Jay Kharma
Stan Stylez def. Beautiful Buddy Tomas
Drew Marston def. ABBS
Johnny Chill won the Battle Royal
OLD SCHOOL versus NEW SCHOOL: Team New School (Timid Tamir Gibbs, Lalo Martinez & RJ Angel) def. Team Old School (Mr. Ooh La La, Magic & Azrieal) when Tamir pinned Ooh La La.
Jonathan Bane interrupted to scream about how he was left off the event, Gunner Trash came out for an impromptu match with the frustrated Bane and picked up the W.
In Rob Chase’s 1000th Match, Sonny Kiss, Trey Felipe & Ricky Pryce def. Alex Reiman, “The Slamburglar” & Brianna Bandz when Felipe pinned “the Slamburglar”
Crowbar def. Prince Ahmed, after the match Crowbar praised Ahmed as a reason he still does this.
Silk City Kings def. Miracle Generation
It was a beautiful night for New Jersey independent wrestling, and a great night overall for Rob Chase.

Hardway HQ founder Jon Harder had these words regarding Chase’s great accomplishment:
“I first met Prince Akkanatan when ACE Pro Wrestling began a sister promotion called Impact Championship Entertainment in 2016. Almost instantly, I realized that “the Vile from the Nile” was a throwback performer; a man who cared more about entertaining the fans than having a modern “five-star classic”. When I had a chance to book Prince for a little company I ran in 2018, it immediately enhanced the show. Over the next few years, seeing how the man evolved into a true utility player in the game, it’s a pleasure to become more acquainted with him on the scene. Nothing but best wishes and continued success for him. And if anyone can, try and find his match on IWTV from IGB 16 in 2023 against the legend Mr. Ooh La La. Comedic greatness.”
Congrats, Rob, and tell Prince and Cam the same thing.
