PRO WRESTLING MAGIC "10 YEARS OF MAGIC PART 1: REVENGE OF THE NERDS" RESULTS 3/15/25
Pro Wrestling Magic began its first stage of its 10 Years of Magic series on Saturday night March 15, 2025 at the Mecca in Ridgefield Park, NJ. It was a wild night with a boatload of shocking moments and championship changes.
Here are the results of PART 1: Revenge of the Nerds:
VI DANIEL defeated EDEN and PWM World Junior Heavyweight Champion TROY LOCKE to win the championship after an absolutely breathtaking Tower of Doom and a high-flying attack from the “Ferocious Beast” to pin Eden. Although he was not pinned, Locke showed respect and shook the hand of Daniel after the match.
VICKI VENUTO pinned PWM Women’s Champion REBECCA J. SCOTT to win the title after Journey Burke, ESQ’s distraction, as well as the inclusion of a steel chair, helped Venuto back to the top of Magic’s Women’s division.
PROLIFIC of RUTHLESS LALA and ISAIAH WOLF defeated PWM World Tag Team Champions THE REP, SMASH AND BURN, and EL PACTO DIABOLICO to win the titles.
“The Suicidal Demon” AZRIEAL successfully defended his PWM Dark Arts Championship against DONOVAN, STEVE PENA, and TREY FELIPE.
In a match to determine the holder of the HEAVYWEIGHT FASTPASS, “El Oso Blanco” BRUNO defeated “the Mayor of Scumbag City” JOHN TELLA after interference from Mateo Marcelos and El Pacto Diabolo. Subsequently, it seemed as if Bruno had joined forces with this diabolical faction.
In an old fashioned tag team grudge match, THE HUNTER and “Indestructible” STEVE OFF defeated “the American Outlaw” DAN MURDOCH and RAY RAY MARZ, thanks to interference again from Marcelos and El Pacto Diabolico. After the match, Bruno and the crew took out Murdoch, Marz, and Hunter.
The tag team match between JOURNEY BURKE, ESQ & COSMIC against TIFFANI AVATAR & CAMRON BRANAE was declared a no-contest due to a serious injury of Avatar. (We at HQ wish the best to “the Cotton Candy Princess” and hope for a speedy recovery.)
The main event for the PWM World Heavyweight Championship between SMILEY and titleholder ALEX REIMAN, who came into the match with an injured shoulder, suffered the night before at ISPW, turned into a triple-threat match when BRUNO forced General Manager Shane Fair’s hand as El Pacto Diabolico had Brandon Downey, Reiman’s cohort, in depose. Although the Fastpass is not meant to be used as a cash-in, Reiman gave in and demanded “El Oso Blanco’s” inclusion. Following some destruction on the two exhausted opponents, BRUNO pinned REIMAN TO WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP!
Magic has its next stage of its 10 YEARS OF MAGIC on April 12, 2025 at the Mecca in Ridgefield Park with PART 2: SUPERBAD. Signed for this night will be “the Miracle” MIKE BENNETT AND MARIA KANELLIS.
One note: after “the ReVolVer” Reiman’s 449 day reign as PWM World Heavyweight Champion came to an end, he gave a fantastic speech to the fans in the venue. He did end it on an auspicious note:
“If you think you’re going to take my KINGDOM from me, you’re going to need a goddamn MIRACLE.”
