ATL & Damon Nite vs Ricky Richards & His Personal "Krampus" - CEP's Toydrives and Piledrivers

Championship Entertainment Productions is running a live event two days before Christmas at The Factory in Freeport, Long Island, NY with a tremendous cause.

Alongside Lucharitos, CEP is starting its inaugural toy drive, in which all resources provided will be going to Toys-For-Tots, a foundation run by the US Marine Corps, who will then distribute them to those less fortunate on Christmas.

There are so many talented performers scheduled for Toydrives & Piledrives, including the NWA's Joe Ocasio, Anthony Gangone, Megan Mason, TJ Marconi, and others. However, there is one match in particular that has me intrigued.

In a tag team attraction, CEP stalwarts ATL & Damon Nite team up to face a man that hasn't been seen in the Northeast in quite some time and "his own personal Krampus".

That man would be RICKY RICHARDS.

Ricky Richards has been a recluse for a good while in the tri-state area. A multiple-time ACE Tag Team Champion, Richards' last appearance in the area was during the Project: Diverge Hockey Fight on April 21, 2022, pummeling and knocking out Tough Tim Hughes.

However, once the Hockey Fight subsided, Richards moved down to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and rediscovered himself as a brooding menace to society.

Once he heard about this event on December 23 in his old stomping grounds of Long Island, Richards decided to return for one reason only: to make everyone's Christmas as miserable as possible. In other words: being wrestling's version of a Snow Miser.

What makes this match interesting is that there is established history between ATL and Richards. Both men broke into wrestling together, more notably in Middle Village Wrestling. ATL, at one time, was the promotion's figurative and literal superhero, while Richards was starting to learn his craft via the School of Hard Knocks.

Over the years, ATL has mellowed out some, and more recently has formed a tag team with Damon Nite. Sadly, ATL and Nite have had some miscommunications during their tag matches, including a tough loss to the Rise at Wrestleview in August. Tensions are running high.

Once Richards announced that he would be bringing his own personal Krampus to ruin everyone's night at Toydrives and Piledrives, ATL and Nite have decided to put their issues aside and attempt to take down the conquering villain and his mysterious sidekick.

To sweeten the pot, CEP management has decided that the winner of this match will receive a future CEP Tag Team Championship opportunity. Could this be what ATL and Damon Nite need to stay focused on the goal? Or will Richards and his personal "Krampus" soil everyone's night and be a true Nightmare Before Christmas?

Tickets are on sale now. The easiest way to access a link would be to scan the QR code on the poster attached to this article. This will be a fun night that you will not want to miss.
